These terms govern your use of the INSIGHTS website, our publications, and our digital services. They are written to be read, not just agreed to. By using this site, you accept the terms set out below.

1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms of use and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of them, please discontinue use of the site. Your continued use is taken as ongoing acceptance.
2. Who we are
INSIGHTS is an independent, youth-led research organisation. This website is our primary platform for publishing research, commentary, and analysis, for sharing information about our Centres and people, and for inviting contributions, applications, and event participation.
3. Intellectual property
All content published on this site, including research papers, commentaries, reports, essays, images, and the design of the site itself, is the intellectual property of INSIGHTS or of the individual authors who created it. Authors retain rights to their own bylined work as agreed with us at the time of publication.
You are welcome to quote our work for academic, journalistic, and educational purposes, provided you attribute it clearly to the author and to INSIGHTS, and link back to the original where possible. Reproducing a full piece, or substantial parts of one, requires our written permission. We are usually glad to give it; please just ask.
4. How our content should be understood
Our content is published for educational and informational purposes. It reflects the analysis and arguments of its authors. It does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional policy advice, and it should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. We take care with accuracy, but we make no guarantee about third-party data or sources referenced in our work.
5. Independence of our analysis
The views expressed in a bylined piece are those of its author. Publication by INSIGHTS indicates that we consider a piece worth reading and argued in good faith. It does not mean the organisation endorses every conclusion, and it never reflects the influence of a funder or partner over editorial content.
6. Acceptable use
When using this site, you agree not to engage in unlawful activity, not to attempt to compromise the site's security or integrity, not to disrupt its operation, and not to use automated tools to harvest or scrape content without our permission. You agree not to misrepresent your identity or affiliation in any form you submit to us.
7. Submissions to us
When you send us a pitch, application, comment, or other material through this site, you confirm that it is your own work or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Sending us a pitch does not create an obligation on our part to publish it.
8. External links
Our site links to external publications, sources, and organisations for reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites, and a link does not imply our endorsement of everything found there.
9. Availability
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it on an as-is basis. We may update, suspend, or withdraw any part of it without notice, and we are not liable for any loss arising from the site being temporarily unavailable.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the review date at the top of this document. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
